Job Description:
We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide essential care and support to a 64-year-old lady. Our client faces multiple health challenges, including Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Type 2 Diabetes. As her PA, you will play a vital role in improving her quality of life by assisting with various daily tasks and offering empathetic care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personal Care: Assist her with bathing, toileting, and dressing while ensuring her comfort and dignity.
2. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with her dietary requirements.
3. Mobility Support: Provide support and assistance to help her with mobility within her home.
4. Medication Management: Assist her with medication reminders and ensure she takes prescribed medications as directed.
5. Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate patience, compassion, and empathy when caring for her and addressing her specific health conditions.
Requirements:
• Compassion, patience, caring and empathetic disposition.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to adapt to varying needs and schedule.
• Experience in caregiving or a willingness to learn and receive training.
Additional Information:
• Flexibility over working hours and days is required.
• Training and guidance will be provided.
• This role may be subject to a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
