SalaryMy client is a leading provider of infrastructure services to clean and wastewater sectors through long-term framework agreements across the UK & Ireland. They offer a broad range of technical capabilities to their clients ranging from asset condition assessment to design, build, and commissioning.
They have recently secured several sizeable schemes to be delivered concurrently alongside their existing workload before the transition into the new client investment period, AMP 8.
As part of this growth plan, they have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join their Delivery Team to assume responsibility for the delivery of several key projects.
The role of the Senior Project Manager will be a valuable part of the business, the focus will be to provide leadership, direction, and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of the schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully supporting the team working in the delivery of the project.
This role will be based in Swansea, with an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, but will require regular travel to site and client meetings across the South Wales region.
Required Experience:
- Experience delivering civil and utilities projects from pre-construction to commissioning.
- Leading multi-contractor and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver common goals.
- Full understanding of planning, liaison with 3rd parties, and pre-construction permits.
- Sustainable, safety, Health, and Environment focus by putting personal safety and wellbeing as a priority of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive.
- Customer-focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their needs.
- Experience in reviewing works arising and contributing to program discussions and improvements.
- Ensure all projects are assigned on time, within budget, and with margin improvements where possible through resource and procurement efficiencies. Collate/update reports and issues promptly.
- Prior experience in managing internal systems with accurate data.
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
- Experience in managing Site & Project Managers.
- Ownership of the project documentation management and production audit-compliant documentation.
- Understanding of the statutory regulations relating to CDM?
- Experience in using industry-specific software such as P6, AutoCAD, and CEMAR?
