Personal Tax Manager (West End, London)

Our client, a growing, established firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Personal Tax Manager to join their team in their London Office, West End.

You will be responsible for your own diverse portfolio of clients , including OMB's and private clients, managing both complex compliance and ad-hoc advisory work.

Duties include:-

• Lead a tax team and review team member's work
• Provide tax planning & advice to clients through written reports, correspondence & and meetings
• Undertake technical research in relation to consultancy projects
• Manage client relationships, identify opportunities, & think strategically by understanding the client’s needs, their business & key risks
• Manage Tax Return information, both internally & for clients
• Liaise with HMRC on clients’ behalf, including dealing with Tax Return enquiries
• Monitor WIP & raise bills
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Work alongside Partners, HR, IT & Marketing to evaluate & improve working processes

You will ideally hold a professional tax qualification such as ATT/CTA and have a strong Personal Tax background with experience of report writing, preferably gained within practice.

A good working knowledge of tax software such as CCH would also be an advantage.
