Role Overview: As the Financial Crime Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our lean yet ambitious team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving operational excellence within the team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in Financial Crime operations.
• Leading by example with a hands-on approach, actively participating in duties alongside team members.
• Managing a growing team of 14 members, with a focus on mentorship and fostering a culture of self-development and progression.
• Implementing data-driven strategies and continuous improvement initiatives, with a keen focus on automation and process optimisation.
• Owning projects and initiatives, with ample autonomy to innovate and make impactful decisions.

Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

• Strong managerial experience, ideally in leading larger teams and serving as a role model for team members.
• A data-driven mindset, with a proven ability to make decisions based on data and facts.
• Experience in fintech or related industries, with a deep understanding of Financial Crime operations and technology solutions.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and leveraging data analytics tools.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
