Personal Tax Senior

A pivotal time to join this close-knit tax team in Glasgow as Personal Tax Senior. This long-established CA firm boasts an impressive client base and sustained longevity within their market.

As the firm continues to evolve, a new opportunity has been created for an experienced Personal Tax professional to manage a client portfolio, review compliance as prepared by trainees and support senior management with advisory/planning projects.

The team are predominately office-based to support the training and development of trainees, collaboration and sharing of technical expertise. This role has oversight of a varied portfolio ranging from high-net worth individuals, professional partnerships and business owners from a range of sectors. The Tax Partner is also keen to mentor those with genuine interest in honing business development and commercial skillset.

The firm have made recent significant investment in technology and are keen to grow their future managers and leaders internally. As such, this is an excellent opportunity to move to a role with genuine progression and advisory opportunities.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience of working in the tax team of a reputable UK Accounting or legal firm. Interest is also welcome from those working in a general practice role looking to specialise in tax. Part-qualified/Newly-qualified ATT, or a willingness to study towards this qualification would be advantageous. You will be an enthusiastic and highly-organised individual with excellent communication skills, and enjoy working collaboratively with a proactive team of multi-skilled tax advisers.

Salary up to £36,000 depending on experience + Benefits. Full study support package also provided, if applicable. The office is centrally located with excellent public transport links and the team enjoy regular social events throughout the month.
