Hot Food Cook

The successful candidate will be offered a career with The Toomey Group Basildon, with a permanent role as a Hot Food Cook within the team in the Petrol Filling Station/Store at our Basildon Location. (SS15 6RW)
We are looking for outgoing, responsible and reliable individuals.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7am - 12pm.
You must be:

Reliable and trustworthy
Well-presented
For the successful selected candidate, the financial package comprises:
Meets minimum wage requirements
Annual leave entitlement
** Min age requirement 18.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure food is cooked properly and at the right temperature
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to management
Experience:
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
