We are looking for a proactive, experienced and highly organised individual to join Young Enterprise as the Senior Relationship Manager.
About the role
We invite you to join an impactful and collaborative fundraising team, working in a driven and supportive environment, which places personal development at its core to ensure team members thrive.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Senior Relationship Manager will support the implementation of the fundraising strategy; you will contribute to an annual budget of £3.8m and raise income from Trusts and Foundations and statutory income streams, utilising your income-generating and communication skills. You will also undertake prospect research as well as develop compelling project updates and reports to inspire supporters.
This role also forms part of the Senior Strategy Group, so you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other senior leaders to contribute to effective inter-functional working.
The role will also line manage, motivate, and support a Philanthropy Officer and Trust and Foundation Manager.
We are looking for:
We are seeking an individual with strong organisation and fundraising skills, a solution-focused attitude to problem-solving and the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy function. A successful track record of building strong internal and external relationships and generating income from Trust and Foundations, particularly at the £ 25K to £100K+, is essential. Strong communication skills, with the credibility and authority to inspire others alongside a successful track record of meeting deadlines and managing own workload is also essential.
