Amnesty International UK (AIUK) has a simple aim: an end to human rights abuses. If you want to use your skills, knowledge, and experience to be successful in this role, you could be our new Philanthropy Executive.
About the role
The Philanthropy Executive will play a vital role in helping Amnesty International UK achieve its mission of protecting human rights by supporting the Major Donor Team to achieve our fundraising targets. The Philanthropy Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional stewardship to new supporters and personally raising four-figure gifts for both UK and international work. In addition to stewardship responsibilities, this role will actively contribute to the growth and development of our new mid-value programme, requiring effective and creative communication skills to engage donors with compelling updates and reports.

The role may be for you if:
- You’re skilled in relationship management and excel at building and nurturing meaningful connections with people.
- You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and have a talent for conveying information in an engaging and compelling manner.
- You bring a creative approach to your work, enabling you to develop engaging donor updates, reports and events.
- You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.
- You have strong organisational skills to ensure that tasks can be completed efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- You may also have a good knowledge of event management or coordination and major donor fundraising but this is not essential .
