Lorien's client, an exciting and rapidly growing organisation with bases across the UK and overseas providing life-saving products to people around the globe, is looking to secure the services of a keen Full Stack PHP Developer on a permanent basis.

Role Outline:

• Draft up, develop, and implement new features to scalable web applications, as well as improving existing offerings
• Take the reins across PHP development and testing, as well as using the Twig template engine on the UI front
• Liaise with other personnel as part of a multidisciplinary team, perform code reviews, and resolve issues flagged by QA/End Users as you go to for performance/security/etc.
• Stay in the loop with new trends and tech out there to identify areas for improvement, and bring new ideas and practices to the table

The skills/background they're looking for:

• Strong PHP skills with either Laravel, Symfony or similar
• Good grasp of Front End tooling such as JavaScript (ideally with React/Angular/Twig) / HTML / CSS
• Knowledge of web security and associated practices
• Database (relational) skills with MySQL/PostgreSQL
• A good knowledge of RESTful APIs, and ideally but not necessarily any exposure to CI/CD/DevOps tooling such as Docker/Kubernetes/similar
