Position Overview: The school is in search of an outstanding PE and Games practitioner capable of teaching at all levels, including Key Stage 5 (A-Level and Cambridge Technical Level 3). The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate effectively within a team, aligning with the school’s values, and actively engaging in the vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach across a range of sports at both competitive and recreational levels.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the PE and Games Department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the department's continued success.
- Actively engage with the school's values and contribute to the vibrant community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Applications are invited from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), experienced Teachers, and those with specializations in main sports (Cricket, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby) or growth sports (Athletics, Basketball, Golf, Swimming, Tennis).
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Along with all of this a QTS will also be required
- Experience in teaching/leading examination classes, particularly Cambridge Technical Level 3.
- Enthusiasm for driving growth in the Cambridge Technical Level 3 qualification.
- A strong coaching/playing background in one of the school's main sports, with additional expertise in a growth sport being advantageous.
