Rehab Physiotherapist RolesJob Title: Band 5,6 or 7 PhysiotherapistsLocation: ShrewsburyStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: Ongoing*The new sub-acute wards are additional community step down inpatient ward setting based on site at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital. This includes Ward 18 Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Ward 36 Princess Royal Hospital, the wards are supporting patients in their treatment, recovery and reablement with the clinical pathways including Frailty , Stroke and Orthopaedics. The ward is led by a consultant and multidisciplinary team and we require the support of therapists to support the ward team. Each ward has 20 beds and we require the support across both sites but more urgently RSH Shrewsbury. We require one FTE Physio/OT/ and 2x Rehab Techs for RSH ward area, any interest for PRH can also be reviewed, working hours can be flexible but 7-day cover required approx. 8-4 / 9-5-time frames.*PhysiotherapistA registered Physiotherapist is required to assess and treat patients requiring ward-based rehabilitation and assessment for discharge planning. Experience of working independently and at pace is required to ensure proactive discharge planning and robust and effective treatment plans are in place.The person will be part of a therapy team including a rehab technician and an occupational therapist.
