Position Overview: As a Pre-Construction Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the pre-construction phase of our projects, ensuring efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities to support successful project delivery. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive pre-construction plans that align with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop pre-construction plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects.

  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pre-construction activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams on pre-construction-related matters, including site logistics, sequencing, and construction methodologies.
  • Participate in project meetings, workshops, and presentations to review pre-construction plans, address issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-construction processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in pre-construction planning, project management, or related roles within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices, with an understanding of pre-construction planning principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines and budget constraints.
