Working in a busy planning office in regards to processing planning applications. This is a temporary position which is based int he city centre.
Your duties will involve:
- Assisting in meetings, taking minutes and diary management
- Preparing marketing materials and attending events as of when required for the development team
- The preparation and maintenance of a database of planning files
- contacting customers in regards to policies and processing applications
- The monitoring of development sites for the purposes of ascertaining compliance
- Assist in the management of revenue including the receipt of and banking of payments,
- Organising letters, documents and plans for customers
- Arranging consultation and publicity in respect of planning proposals.
- Provision of information on development projects to customers and stakeholders, such as printing document/plans and letters when necessary.
A background within the Planning/ build sector would be required but not essential. The right person must have good customer service skills and can work in a busy department. You will have excellent IT skills and administration background.
