Production Planning Administrator

We are searching for a Production Planning Administrator, someone to provide administrative support to the Planning Manager and Planning Department.

Working closely with the Planning, Production and Purchasing Teams you will help to ensure that works delivery and safety stock is maintained and that customer expectations are met.

You will be responsible for the following on a day-to-day basis: -

• Receiving deliveries into Sage of Purchased Parts that are delivered to the Metal Shop.
• Receiving deliveries into Sage of Packaging Parts delivered to D Units (to be completed within one working day).
• Ensuring that all Delivery Discrepancy Reports are forwarded to the relevant Buyer on the same day as the date of arrival.
• Ordering of Packaging materials required in accordance with associated Work Order Pick Lists.
• Ensuring Out Work Sub-Assemblies are paired to relevant Works Orders.
• Coordinating the system transfer of inspected stocks from their goods in locations to their final storage locations.
• Issuing Pick Lists of parts required to complete Works Orders to Stores for picking.
• Coordinate the system transfer of components issued from their stores locations to the appropriate Production, Assembly line or other Bin to Bin locations.
• Ordering of Work Wear for all employees.
• Ordering equipment and consumable materials as required by Assembly and Metal Shop departments within budgetary constraints.
• Recording Write Off stock adjustment on Sage.
• Printing Route cards for Assembly.

To be a success in this position you will have the following skills and experience: -

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dynamic and proactive.
• Numerate with accurate attention to detail.
• Good Excel skills.
• Flexibility to carry out a wide-ranging role.
• Manufacturing industry experience.

Successful candidates will ideally have proven, and relevant experience gained from working within manufacturing.

Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Stock Control Systems (SCS) is highly desirable, together with an analytical and inquisitive mind. You will also need to be a team player with good communication skills to be considered for this opportunity.

Please note, this role is predominately office-based. Our client offers Monday to Friday working for all departments, a two day per week working from home policy, where possible, and enhanced holiday allowance.

The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (8.00am to 4.30pm).
