Are you experienced in Stock Control or production administration looking for a new and exciting Production Planning assistant role with a well-established company where you will be working directly for Production Planning Manager?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, the purpose of this role is to ensure the timely delivery of all related work to meet customer expectations. Working closely with all members of the Planning, Production & Purchasing teams, to ensure that works order delivery and safety stock is maintained.
Reporting into the production manager, you will work closely with the planning, production and purchasing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely delivery of all related work to meet customer expectations.

This role would suit someone with experience of Stock Control/goods inwards and liaison with production.
The Role:

• Maintain defined levels of safety stock for inventory
• Receive deliveries into Sage of Purchased Parts delivered to Metal Shop
• Ensure that all Delivery Discrepancy reports are forwarded to the relevant Buyer on the same day as the date of arrival
• Order of Packaging materials required in accordance with associated Work Order Pick List
• Issue Pick Lists of parts required to complete Works Orders to Stores for picking

The Person:

• Experience in goods inwards/Stock Control within a manufacturing environment
