They have an opportunity for a Planner with previous relevant industry experience to join their award-winning planning team in Leeds. Their teams specialise in a wide range of projects including large scale mixed-use regeneration, infrastructure, residential, industrial & logistics and commercial developments.
You will be working alongside experienced planning professionals assisting on a cross-section of planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries, as well as local plan representations.

Responsibilities
- Supporting the team in the delivery of a variety planning projects including taking an active role in supporting senior colleagues with all aspects of advice, planning applications and appeals Take an active role in supporting senior colleagues to deliver planning advice to clients across all planning disciplines; Provide concise, accurate, evidenced and timely research and written documents (reports, letters, emails, etc.) for line manager review; Review and interpret relevant legislation, Development Plan policy and other material considerations to inform the preparation of planning strategies by senior colleagues You will represent their clients at public meetings and other events.
Requirements
- Degree or higher in relevant subject, making you eligible for RTPI membership. Professional experience of a wide range of planning matters, ideally gained in a consultancy environment. Excellent verbal and written skills. Positive, hard-working attitude. Enjoys responsibility and integrating/collaborating with other teams. Demonstrate a professional manner both internally and externally.
