Planning ManagerWiltshireGBP80,000 - GBP90,000We are currently seeking a Planning Manager, in the Wiltshire area, on behalf of our client; a Leader in Technology within the UK. This role is pivotal in overseeing the planning function within the business, with responsibility to ensure that the planning team possesses the necessary skills, adheres to governance standards, and follows efficient processes to facilitate the successful execution of our works portfolio. Working closely with the regional delivery management team, ensure the consistent deployment of procedures and tools to meet planning and reporting needs at both project and portfolio levels.Duties of Planning Manager

• Conducting analysis and scenario modelling for potential project changes, offering insights into risks involved.
• Meeting internal and client reporting needs by providing KPI, EV, schedule delay, and critical path analysis reports.
• Cultivating strong relationships with client representatives to collectively devise efficient planning and controls solutions.
• Liaising with the central Bids & Tendering team to transition tender plans into contract plans effectively.
• Collaborating with project, commercial, and finance managers to accurately develop and maintain project schedules with resources and costs.
• Serving as the expert in planning and controls, maintaining consistency in applying standards, templates, and procedures across the team.
• Ensuring compliance with UK project management processes in developing and maintaining project plans.
• Identifying and recruiting planning resources necessary to support the regional portfolio's delivery.
• Managing the planning team, nurturing their skills and capabilities to deliver top-notch planning services to the delivery teams.
• Leading the planning function in the regional delivery area, overseeing project planning and associated controls across the delivery portfolio.

Certification/Education/Experience required for Planning Manager

• Technical or Engineering Experience
• Project Methodology Experience - Prince2 etc.
• Primavera/MS Project experience
• Degree Level or equivalent
