SalaryVarnom Ross have been tasked exclusively with securing a Planning Policy Team Leader for an LPA based in the Home Counties..
They require a highly experienced, driven, and motivated Planner to lead the Planning Policy Team across the whole of the Council’s territory. Your core responsibility will be to manage the development of the Council’s various Plans and all other supporting strategic Policy documents involved in the process.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the performance of the Planning Policy and Strategy Team and to work closely and effectively with the Development Management Teams to achieve the best vision and aims the authority has.
Despite the role being at Team Leader level, my client has said they will consider Planning Policy Specialists who have extensive experience at Principal level, or, have exposure to mentoring junior members of staff.
Although home- working is on offer, the LPA will require you to be in the office ideally 2/3 times a week.
The salary range for the role will vary, up to a maximum of £61,000 a year. This will depend greatly on your level of experience.
