Pmo (Manufacturing) Lead

Location: UK-based
Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 + package

Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a PMO (Manufacturing) Lead to play a critical role in the successful launch of a new product for a global manufacturer. This role would suit a hands-on leader who can take responsibility for the overall governance of the change projects within this customer centric, manufacturer. Responsibilities will cover a wide scope of cross-functional and strategic projects on a global scale as well as wider continuous improvement initiatives and transformational programmes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role leading global projects involving new product development who is confident in maintaining clear communication channels among global project stakeholders.

This is an 18-Month FTC. It is a home-based role, however it does involve semi-frequent global travel as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy, focusing on enforcing project governance standards to ensure adherence to new product development best practices.
• Oversee multiple work-streams, ensuring coherence across all operational functions, tracking progress and identifying risks.
• Manage the project budget, implementing cost-control measures when necessary.
• Utilise a range of project management methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement on a global scale.
• Leverage experience working within international teams to ensure effective collaboration and cultural alignment.
• Demonstrate an understanding of new product development processes from concept to launch.
• Maintain clear communication and visibility among global project stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor quality control processes, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product globally.

Experience:

• Proven experience in programme management within global projects involving new product development.
• Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an international team.
• Confident getting involved in developing and implementing process improvements.
• Able to communicate and maintain visibility among a range of global project stakeholders.
