Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced policy professional with a specific interest and focus on Domestic Abuse and VAWG to lead on our policy development. This role is a 20-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.
This role will support Cranstoun’s policy development in the Domestic Abuse space. The Policy Lead will have responsibility for the development of policy by looking into national and international best practice across this area. They will work as part of Cranstoun’s communications team to develop Cranstoun’s world class evidence base and engage with external stakeholders to promote the policy work of the organisation.
The candidate will support us with our five year mission to identify, develop and deliver innovative, evidence-informed solutions that rebuild lives and to help us lead best practice in our service areas through research and help to support the policy work of the charity.
This role would suit an individual with experience working in policy development in Domestic Abuse and/or other social policy areas. The candidate will also lead on engagement in this area with policymakers in Westminster, the devolved nations and in local government.
