We are currently looking for a Policy Project Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. We will also consider part-time hours.

The Role
As a Policy Project Officer, you will secure and deliver policy and research project work, developing expertise in our key policy areas.
Supporting our influencing strategy, you will develop proposals for new project work and respond to relevant tenders, including geographic and theme-specific opportunities.
You will engage with members to get involved in our policy work, highlighting opportunities for member involvement particularly through our member-led policy groups.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop evidence of the benefits of community-led practice and showcase local innovation
- Develop press releases and material for our website and contribute to policy blogs and updates
About You
To be considered as a Policy Project Officer, you will need:
- Experience in a policy, research or similar role
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative sources to develop evidence-based policy work
- Experience of drafting a variety of policy materials
- Effective research and information gathering skills
