Their partnership works to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They deliver interventions and work across the domestic abuse specialist sector, with public sector partners and beyond to develop sustainable, national systems that respond effectively to perpetrators of domestic abuse.
They are now looking for a Policy, Public Affairs & Communications (PPAC) Officer to join their team on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract until March 2026, with the possibility of extension.

The Role
As the Policy, Public Affairs & Communications (PPAC) Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our client’s engagement activity.
Supporting their policy influencing capacity, you will develop strategic approaches to address perpetrators of domestic abuse. You’ll identify opportunities to promote their partnership through various channels, such as committee enquiries, consultations and news developments.
You’ll co-ordinate the delivery of communications, developing high-quality materials for internal and external audiences and promoting the impact of the partnership through digital posts, reports, briefings, statements and policy positions.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure key messages are communicated effectively
- Maintain a network of external and internal relationships
- Support and consult with the partnership's team of Expert Advisers
- Maintain accurate and secure records of all relevant communication
About You
To be considered as a Policy, Public Affairs & Communications (PPAC) Officer, you will need:
- Experience of digital communication, including editing and creating online content
- Experience using website content management systems
- Experience of building and maintaining good relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- The ability to work at speed, condensing large quantities of information down to compelling, accurate key messages
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A creative, innovative approach to presenting information across different formats and channels, for a range of audiences
