Do you have experience in developing best practice guidance?
We are seeking a talented individual to join an independent regulatory organisation for a six-month contract to take the lead on producing their updated advice and guidance. The role is offered part time or full time and can be fully remote, hybrid or office based.
Working with the Head of Policy and wider policy team, you will bring together a variety of information streams from a code of practice review process. From there, you will develop cohesive, coherent and accessible advice and guidance for their sector, and write amendments to their code of practice for the future.
As the Policy Specialist, you will have experience in producing best practice guidance and advice for a regulator or sector body, not necessarily within a Policy role or team. Desirable but not essential is knowledge and skills around developing and creating regulatory rules, understanding UK legislation and regulations, and a strong understanding of the charity and fundraising landscape. If you are a proactive and motivated individual with experience with writing policy documents at a senior level, and passionate about creating meaningful policy change, we want to hear from you!
