This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary research Centre within Cardiff University in collaboration with University of Newcastle and partners in Australia. As part of the role you will conduct research in the area of cyber security and its impacts on grid integration of electric vehicles. This is a project that is funded by the EPSRC. Providing expertise to the project developing modelling and analysis of cyber attack, converter interfaced grid integration of electric vehicle, and hardware-in-the-loop real time test, you will also contribute to the overall research performance of the School and University, carry out research leading to the publishing of high-quality research as well as pursue excellence in research and inspire others to do the same. This post is full time (35 hours per week), available immediately and is fixed term for 10 months. Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum (Grade 6).
