We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join us in the School of Medicine Professional Services team, specifically the postgraduate distance learning team based at Ninewells Hospital. This an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, supportive and agile team.
This is a temporary 12-month post, available for an immediate start.
A key focus for the post holder will be providing administrative support for Postgraduate Programmes, successfully balancing operational priorities and responding flexibly to the varying and evolving needs of the programmes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that team objectives and deadlines are met whilst providing assistance and support to other team members as required.
Your priorities will include:
- Administrative tasks supporting the best educational experience to all students from point of enquiry to graduation.
- Responding to, and resolving enquiries and programme related queries with a solution focused approach to challenges
- Maintenance of student records and systems in line with Learning and Teaching and Quality Academic Standards
- Providing a customer focused service to a range of stakeholders
- Support a positive culture of continuous improvement
Who we are looking for:
This position will suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, who is interested in supporting continuous improvement across the operational business.
- An administrative qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to communicate with a range of audiences including via email, teams calls and in person
- Good analytical skills with the ability to process and collate information accurately
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimum supervision whilst managing competing demands and using initiative within the remit of the post
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to be flexible to new and changing demands
- Working knowledge of Office 365 packages, including Excel
