Postgraduate Researcher Lifecycle Systems Manager

You'll champion positive change, from streamlining processes to managing diverse research opportunities, all with the goal of enhancing the experience for PGRs, academics, senior management, and funders. In this role you will: Lead projects to optimise PGR Lifecycle Systems, generating creative solutions to help support the University's strategic goals Improve PGR processes, providing expert insights, reports, and data as required, and driving implementation of change Design and manage studentship competitions and internships, attracting top talent and aligning with institutional strategy Be the go-to resource for academics on all studentship and internship matters, providing expert guidance and support Develop and document clear procedures for PGR systems and competitions, ensuring consistency and transparency About you The successful candidate will have a background in Higher Education, with experience of managing administrative services within a Higher Education context. Your background will include experience delivering complex services that involve multiple stakeholders, and as a result you will be confident working with stakeholder/end user feedback to drive positive change and continuous improvement. You will have strong IT skills, including working knowledge of databases, and will also be able to demonstrate project management skills. Previous line management experience would be beneficial, as would knowledge of the PGR funding landscape and/or experience of working with Doctoral Training Partnership consortia.
