What is the Job Role?
Manage the daily operations of the Powder Coating team, ensuring targets are met.- Provide solutions to problems in liaison with other Shift Leaders. Man-management of the team including performance and conduct. Ensure surfaces are prepared for Powder Coating application in accordance with Company, ISO9001 and EN13438:2005 standards. Manage Powder Coating schedules. Ensure Powder Coating process is followed in line with specifications. Lead/co-ordinate quality checking process; resolve any defects. Develop, train and provide guidance and support to employees.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and complied with at all times.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be part of a small team and must be able to work with and manage the team to achieve the required targets and highest standards. Experience of leading/managing a team of powder coaters is essential. Automatic booth experience is desirable.
You should have an eye for detail and a passion for producing work of the highest quality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You must be highly organised and able to produce work to deadlines.
This role involves manual work, therefore you must be physically fit.
What can we offer?
£17.40 per hour start rate including Night Shift allowance of 20%.- Weekly pay. Monday to Thursday, 18.00 to 05.00; 40 hours per week. Overtime available, paid at time and a half. 28 days paid holidays (224 hours), including bank holidays. Holidays increase with service to a maximum of 25 days plus bank holidays (264 hours).
