If so, we want to connect with you! Ardeta Search is on the lookout for a Power BI Financial Reporting Senior Analyst to join the finance team of our client in the Sheffield region.
Role Overview:
As the Power BI Financial Reporting Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in:
Analysing trends in customer, product, and profitability to empower management in making critical commercial, financial, and strategic decisions. This involves leveraging various reporting tools, predominantly SQL and Power BI.
Leading a small team of financial analysts to ensure the delivery of insightful analyses and information.
Engaging in financial analysis and reporting, translating results into meaningful outputs using tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights for the business.
Creating and maintaining systems and processes for monitoring product profitability.
Supporting pricing teams through in-depth analysis and provision of valuable data.
Conducting monthly reporting tasks, including reconciliation and contractual fee calculations.
Assisting in the accurate and timely production of client/consolidated forecasts, budgets, and 5-year strategic plans.
Developing financial models to support commercial business decisions and opportunities.
Taking ownership of projects, profit modeling, and other ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations as needed.
Identifying and driving process improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports and developing automated reporting tools.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Financial reporting/analysis experience, coupled with some management experience.
Advanced SQL knowledge, including the ability to create queries, views, and procedures.
Excellent Power BI creation and maintenance skills.
Strong analytical and data-gathering abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
Robust communication skills.
