PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Coventry
Duration: Full time post ongoing
Salary: £134 - 215per day (DOE)
The School/role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced teacher to work as a PPA Cover teacher within an Ofsted rated “Good” school in Coventry. As a PPA Cover Teacher you will handle PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 classes on a full-time basis. The planning for each class will be provided, however, experience adapting and differentiating planning would be desirable. The school are looking for someone with a range experience in similar roles across KS1 and KS2, relevant education qualifications and a positive attitude and work ethic.

This PPA Cover Teacher role will include managing the students’ behaviour, supporting learning and following provided lesson plans to ensure that there is no disruption of the children’s education. To be successful in this PPA Cover Teacher role, you must have firm behaviour management skills and a good understanding of curriculum aims across Key Stage 1 to Upper Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience teaching across all Key Stages or, as a minimum, has provided intervention support across the Key Stages.
Ensuring the continued success of the students is extremely important to the school, so the ideal candidate for this role will have experience within this field and be confident in supporting a range of subjects in the curriculum.
This position will include interaction with a variety of primary students with different levels of education including some with SEN. Whilst SEN experience is not a direct requirement, the ideal candidate must be able to provide a calm, patient, and safe learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:
· QTS or equivalent qualification
· Experience in planning and delivering lessons
· Available Immediately
· Level 1, or higher, safeguarding certificate
· Experience as a class teacher
· Spent time in both KS1 and KS2
· Recent school-based references
· Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
· Enhanced DBS – registered on the update service
