PR Account Manager
As a PR Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing strategic public relations campaigns for clients within the Financial Services / Mortgage industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and developing PR strategies to enhance their brand visibility and reputation. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of media relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their goals and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with clients to identify PR opportunities and develop tailored strategies to meet their objectives.
- Develop comprehensive PR plans that align with clients' overall business goals.
- Identify target audiences and craft messaging that resonates with key stakeholders.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Pitch stories, press releases, and other content to secure positive media coverage for clients.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content, including press releases, articles, and other materials.
- Ensure all content aligns with clients' brand messaging and objectives.
- Implement PR campaigns across various channels, including traditional media, digital platforms, and social media.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
- Coordinate and manage PR events, product launches, and press conferences.
- Ensure seamless execution and maximize media attendance and coverage.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance, media coverage, and PR metrics.
- Analyse results to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PR account management, with a track record of successful campaigns.
- Experience within Financial Services and industry knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR analytics.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
