PR Manager (Regulatory, IP and Tech practices)

PR and Comms Manager in a respected global law firm. 12 month FTC. Competitive salary. London with Hybrid working.

We are working with one of the top global law firms, with a well established PR and comms team. The firm is looking for a PR Manager to joined on an initial 12 month FTC, maternity contract. Overall the role will manage the PR for the global regulatory, IP, media and Tech practices. As well as managing the comms for Partner hires and departures across UK and EMEA.

Key duties include:

• Strategic plan and create external profile raising opportunities;
• Coach and guide Partners and Senior Management on media opportunities;
• Maintain and develop relationships with key journalists and publications;
• Develop the firm’s PR strategy for the global regulatory and IP, media and Tech group;
• Manage global announcements for EMEA Partner hires;
• Deliver best practice training to the business and mentor junior members of the team.

The role would suit an experienced PR professional, with exposure to the legal sector. This could be in house experience or from agency. Strong written ability is essential as well as good media contacts with national and trade press.
