Practice Receptionist – Lerwick GP Practice (Ref: 179282)

Substantive Post

Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Band 3, Salary Range £25,468 - £27,486 per annum plus

Distant Islands Allowance of £2,256 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 full-time Receptionist in the Lerwick GP Practice. The Lerwick Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 8,700 patients.

In this busy and demanding post, you will find no two days the same – the Reception staff have a key role in answering queries from members of the public as well as typing letters and referrals. Previous experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage but training on the job will be given.
