Praxis is the largest registered care charity in Northern Ireland and has around 1,800 staff and a turnover of over £66m. Since our foundation in 1984, we have been committed to helping those at risk of exclusion because of complexity of need. Our approach is to help the person enhance their self-management skills, learn more effective ways of communicating and manage the situation safely when behaviours do occur. We have operations in GB, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man as well as Northern Ireland.
What we do:
Praxis Care provides services across a broad spectrum of needs. We provide support and accommodation approaches which are shaped around the needs and preferences of the individual and reflect how they want to live their lives. We provide support in the following areas:
- Autism
- Dementia
- Learning Disability
- Mental Health
- Volunteering
- Research
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone with senior experience of organisational team management and Learning and Development to support our 1800-strong team. Uppermost in our requirements is an authentic commitment to the cause of improving the lives of those we support.
