SalaryWe are working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of £550m and a strong national presence across the commercial, industrial and data centre sectors who are looking for a pre-construction focused MEP manager to join their business.
Based from their head office you in St Albans you will join a talented MEP team responsible for liasing with all relevant stakeholders acting as a link between external design consultancies and on-site delivery teams to ensure that all pre-construction and front end MEP duties are carried out to a high standard to facilitate efficient and successful delivery of services packages to completion of projects.
Role & Responsibilities: • Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings to comply with project requirements. • Efficient use of AutoCAD & REVIT to produce high quality drawings. • Communicate internally within the Group companies/ departments and externally with the client/ designers. • Assist in future development of construction methodology. • Assist in Project temporary works planning. • Create detailed documents such as logistics plans & construction sequencing diagrams to convey method of construction to client. • Technically review pre-contract documents to assess risk and site constraints. • Advise on Value Engineering.
This role will be suited to people of an M or E bias working for a design consultancy who wish to transition into the contracting the world, an on-site MEP managers with a main contractor, a project engineer or project manager with an M&E contractor who wish to move into a pre-con focused opportunity.
