Penguin Pre-School has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
The Vacancy is a permanent contract for 20 hours per week (term time only)
Starting salary is dependent on age, experience and qualification but can be up to £10.62. This will be reviewed in April alongside the national minimum wage increase.
The working hours are 12-4 Monday – Friday term time only. Penguin Pre-School is a committee ran setting serving the Northgate area of Great Yarmouth. We offer education and learning for 2-5 year old children.
The successful applicant’s duties will include working directly alongside the Manager, Deputy Manager/Room Leader to carry out planning from week to week and will be a key person to a small group of the children.

The applicant must have at least a Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years. You will need to be a motivated and enthusiastic practitioner, with a real passion for Early Years Learning. We strive to offer the best/highest quality of care and education in the setting.
The successful applicant must have a professional stance to deal with the parents/carers and other professionals.
Penguin Pre-School offers the ability for their staff to develop their professional knowledge through training and personal mentoring. Enabling staff to develop their confidence and the freedom to develop their practice.
