Salary: £43,224 rising to £46,387 after approx. 6m/trained

Job Purpose:
To operate and maintain process plant and equipment to deliver against plan with regard to safety, environmental, volume, quality and cost. Operate flexibly to ensure all job stations are covered.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Ensure optimum operation of all plant clearance activity to include but not limited to, loading trailers, and movement of trailers and tankers and supply of raw materials, pallets and packaging.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance procedures and first line breakdown maintenance so that plant downtime is minimised.
- Maintain a safe operation that complies with safety, environmental and Company standards, including auditing, reporting and housekeeping.
- Provide problem solving and diagnostic expertise to ensure issues are resolved and plant operation continued.
- Record accurately all process information such that it can be used to ensure process operation is maintained within set limits.
- Training of others in tasks they perform regularly within their job role.
- Participate in Improvement Activities, individually and as part of a team and perform formal shift handovers as required.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required:
- Successful candidates will have an RTITB accredited FLT licence, ideally with experience of Shunt driving and/or work in a food or chemical production environment
- PPT part ll & lII (minimum standard required to fulfil role)
- Process Operations NVQ Level 3
- Chemical process plant shift work experience

- Process Operators will carry out any task they have been deemed competent to do, provided that such activity can be completed safely.
- The Job Holder will be required to work with minimum of supervision from their first line manager.
Additional Info:
- Shift pattern - 2x12hr Days/2x12hr Nights, 4 off, repeated 7, 18-day break with cover requirements and 160 banked hours as part of the salary
