About the team: The Presales Consultant will work in total alignment with the sales teams supporting all products (Cendex, Gapsquare, Aptifore and Core UK and US) across new business and cross sell opportunities. The person should deliver best-in-class demo support of our of products. Therefore, it is imperative that they gain and can display in-depth knowledge about the nuances of pay equity, including statistics, analytics methods, and pay equity laws as well as benchmarking and compliance markets. While the Presales Consultant will be based within the UK, they will also be responsible for providing support to our US colleagues in their engagements and as such must build a strong understanding of pay equity in the US market.


About the job: Presales Consultantplay 3 key roles-

they support with technical ways in which the product delivers to objectives on reward and comp, pay equity and legal compliance. This would be specifically via demo support. They also can play a role in the early part of the sales process around helping with market and product maturity and leading with insights / supporting with discovery (Gapsquare only and only for deals over $20k) They can also support with proposal production.


The Presales Consultant must be an excellent communicator, have superior and exemplary people skills, and possess a strong self-driven and self-motivated work ethic. Able to offer tailored demonstrations of our solutions to specific business drivers. Delivery is done through both face to face and online, showcasing to a range of users up to and including C-suite.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Showcase our solution portfolio to new and existing clients in a confident and professional manner
  • To be a knowledge champion of all solutions within the team
  • Working collaboratively with our sales teams to deliver bespoke training sessions
  • Collecting clear and concise product feedback to share with our content and marketing teams to support with continuous enhancement of our solutions
  • Lead with market insight to support with educating firms around potential challenges
  • Maintain exemplary record keeping using Salesforce.com and other Sales Enablement tools at all times
  • First class diary and time management always
  • Comfortable discussing business challenges and demonstrating ROI to clients
  • Articulation of XpertHR solutions and services to existing and prospective clients in a way that is focused on their stated business objectives
  • Work side-by-side with cross functional departments and colleagues to present a unified view of XpertHR and our capabilities
  • Attending, staffing, and networking at industry conferences and events


Qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering remote and face to face business presentations
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands at short notice.
  • Experience with Enterprise & Large Enterprise customers and building positive relationships at senior levels, including C-Level executives
  • Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Be able to clearly articulate to clients and prospects the XpertHR vision and tie in with client’s own strategy
  • Experienced in pay equity / reward professional with practical knowledge and experience of salary and bonus reviews, benchmarking and job evaluation would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and embedded sales enablement solutions is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer focus
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands at short notice
  • Possess the highest ethical standards
  • Be a strong Team member who communicates effectively – your internal team focus needs to be sharing, fostering and collaborative
  • Able to travel for key client/prospect visits and conferences (post Covid -19 restrictions)
  • Able to work flexible hours to accommodate international colleagues and customers in different time zones
  • Good levels of IT literacy are expected
