Our UK operations include a prominent and authorised medical cannabis importer and wholesaler, as well as a medical cannabis clinic regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), where we offer consultations and treatments for individuals suffering from chronic pain, anxiety, and various other conditions.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role at Cantourage Clinic, our medical cannabis clinic located in London. The Prescribing Pharmacist will be responsible for prescribing cannabis-based medications under the guidance of our specialist clinicians. This will involve both traditional and medicinal cannabis prescriptions where necessary, while providing support and effective communication to patients and their healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous experience working as a Prescribing Pharmacist is preferred
• A good understanding of medicines management and the safe and appropriate use of drug therapies
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and staff members
• An understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks relating to medical cannabis prescribing in the UK
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while having a keen attention to detail
• A willingness to work independently but also as part of a team
• Commitment to providing the highest standards of patient care
• Experience and a qualification in Independent Prescribing
• A capability and willingness to learn and keep up to date on new developments and advances in the emerging field of medical cannabis
