Utilising Pearson Press Brakes they produce a wide variety of products to high standards supplying major company with channels and transition products in a range of gauge and material.
Role Overview:
As an experienced Press Brake Setter and Operator, you will be a key member of a dedicated workforce and will play a crucial role in shaping products and ensuring their accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual Press Brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and perform trial runs to achieve precise results.
- Monitor production processes, inspect finished parts, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues, optimize efficiency, and meet production targets.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating conventional Press Brakes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical specifications.
- Familiarity with various Press Brake tooling and their applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
- Attention to Detail: Precise measurements and adherence to specifications are critical.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

Benefits:
Salary: £13 - £15 p/h
Hours: 37.5 hours a week.
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm (flexible), 6am - 12.15pm Friday.
