Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Pricing Analyst to help lead our Accounting & Finance team. This role is integral to our team, providing key insights that directly influence company-wide decision making.

Description

The Pricing Analyst will cover:

• Lead the competitor pricing analysis (Online, Retail & Direct)
• Daily monitoring of price check system to ensure orders are released on time at the correct prices
• Regular communication with sales and finance to ensure planned promotions and price deviations are in line with company KPI's
• Direct responsibility for evaluating and processing price increases
• Direct responsibility for evaluating and processing price decreases beyond agreed levels
• Review of pricing anomalies
• Reviewing third party supplier pricing within SAP
• Review of margin impacts due to agreed strategies and promotions
• Co-ordinate with sales managers to develop and define new pricing structures and strategies for new and existing products
• Creation of weekly & monthly margin reports and analysis
• Assisting international product managers with competitor pricing analysis
• Analyse impact of price increases
• General price file management on SAP
• Maintenance of discount structures in SAP
• Monitor and report on pricing performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

Profile

A successful Pricing Analyst should have:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• A high level of proficiency in Excel and other financial software
