About the School

This is a one entry Primary school who is part of a school alliance with one other local Primary School. The school ethos puts the children at the heart of the school, and teaches independence and resilience through their 'self' PSED program. The setting works closely with the local community and children enjoy outings and visits outside the school. There is a parent teacher association with regular events such as bake sales, coffee afternoons and mother's and fathers day events. The most recent ofsted report states that the children within the school are "Happy, safe and well cared for" also stating "staff encourage pupils to behave well and follow the schools expectations"

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing constructive feedback to students.
• Assessing and meticulously recording pupils' progress and development.
• Collaborating closely with the school team, fostering partnerships with external agencies.
• Cultivating positive relationships with both students and parents.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners.
• Championing school policies, including those related to inclusion, safeguarding, and behavior management.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Demonstrable experience in primary education settings.
• Confidence and proficiency in teaching pupils aged 7-8 years old.
