Primary Send Teacher

SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher in North Birmingham.

A qualified Teacher is required for long term supply cover in an fantastic SEND school in North Birmingham.

The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile Teacher who is creative and caring in their approach. The school has a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants who provide fantastic support to the children.

The students are vulnerable and need that little bit extra support to develop socially as well as academically. The successful Teacher will have excellent communication skills and be able to use basic MAKATON and PECS.

The ideal Teacher will have:

• UK QTS with SEND experience.
• The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
• A positive approach to teaching.
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
• Fantastic classroom management.
