The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be experienced in working with primary or secondary students and have a strong background in special educational needs, including managing challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
• Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Manage and support students with challenging behaviour, employing effective behaviour management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience in working with students with special educational needs, including challenging behaviour.
• Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and strategies.
• Team Teach qualification is desirable but full training will be provided if you do not hold this
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
