Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role involves covering a long-term position until the end of the academic year, supporting the educational journey of our Year 5 students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity, collaboration, and empathy are highly valued. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 5 students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Manage challenging behaviours effectively, implementing strategies that promote positive behaviour management. Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching approaches and share best practices. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, maintaining open and transparent dialogue about student progress and well-being. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students. Commitment to the school's values of nurture, collaborate, innovate, and empathise. Salary: The salary for this position ranges from £135 to £150 per day, depending on the level of experience. This rate does not include planning and preparation time.
