We're currently looking for a Principal Air Quality Consultant to join a highly motivated and ambitious growing Air Quality Team.

What does the role involve?
As a Principal Air Quality Consultant in our Environment, Sustainability and Design Business unit you'll work in multidisciplinary teams to deliver a full suite of Air Quality services to a range of clients including industrial, private and public sector. You'll use your vast expertise and experience to provide technical support to our clients and develop more junior members of the team. You will support the Air Quality team manager in work winning, growing and developing the team and ensuring high quality deliverables are maintained.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in a similar role in Air Quality Consultancy
- Be able to manage and oversee the delivery of Air Quality assessments to inform optimum design, and assess and mitigate impacts
- Provide robust technical advice to clients across a wide range of sectors
- Be an expert user of Air Quality modelling software package such as ADMS-Roads, ADMS and AERMOD etc.
- Ability to ensure the delivery of high quality, thorough and structured reports from more junior members of the team for a wide variety of clients and sectors
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain great stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities whilst meeting deadlines
Desirable
- Have demonstrable experience in leading tender / framework opportunities
- Have experience of managing the technical and financial delivery of large and complex projects
- Have experience in delivery of Air Quality action planning support including Clean Air Plans
- Hold full membership of Institute of Air Quality Management, Institution of Environmental Sciences or Chartered Status.
- Have demonstrable experience in liaising with designers and transport planners on infrastructure projects, planning applications and EIA.
