The successful candidate will provide case consultation and will support in developing professional understanding of young people who are in involved with the YJS. You will support in the planning and delivery of therapeutic interventions. You will be closely linked with the healthcare teams in the YJS to include health and well being practitioners who provide low level therapeutic interventions, substance misuse workers, public health nurses and speech and language therapists. Additionally you be closely aligned with the adolescent forensic service and clinical supervision will be provided by the Consultant Psychologist. You will have excellent communication skills to promote and develop interagency working and have experience of working with systems working with young people who present with complex and multiple needs. You will work autonomously within professional guidelines, TEWV trust values and YJS processes. You will work well within multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to overall service delivery improvements as required. You will utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development. A specific area of research has been identified as part of the project which seeks to understand female youth violence.
