We are seeking a Principal Developer to play a pivotal role in the high-quality performance of our SAAS-based product. This position involves hands-on development and leadership, ensuring robust, performant, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will be a driving force in our technical strategy, leading system architecture discussions, and upholding the highest standards in solution delivery.
Day to Day of the role:
- Engage in hands-on development across a varied product suite.
- Set the technical direction and provide mentorship to team members across all levels.
- Adhere to and promote the company's SDLC using scrum/kanban methodologies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the design, documentation, and coding of solutions.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Development Manager to align development with product strategy and coding standards.
- Lead project discussions, understanding technical requirements to ensure successful sprint/product delivery.
- Coordinate with the professional services team on customer-driven application developments, which may include site visits.
- Engage with stakeholders and exert influence to drive project success.
- Assist with team inductions, training, and recruitment as needed.
- Proactively address technical impediments to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical partners on integrations and maintain them as required.
- Provide support and maintenance for the code base and attend quarterly company reviews.
Personal Skills:
- Proven track record in implementing best practices and leading technical strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with various team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in code review and providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
