Job title:Principal C&I Systems Engineer

What you'll be doing:
- Developing a C&I functional design for complex propulsion, mechanical and electrical systems
- Specifying instrumentation that is fit for purpose and meets specified functionality
- Analysing compliance against non-functional stakeholders (EMC, Shock, Metallics etc.)
- Undertaking/Leading technical design reviews for C&I
- Managing system design maturity to meet programme demands
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as inter-business teams, MOD & industrial partners
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience of C&I Design & Development
- Significant experience producing and communicating design artefacts relating to C&I systems
- Experience developing solutions to meet complex technical requirements in a highly regulated industry/environment
- Familiarity with functional; safety; defence standards, British standards, naval standards, and /or nuclear standards
- STEM Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
Desirable
- Obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration (CEng)
