A well established consultancy globally recognised for their expertise to create the most advanced and impressive building projects is looking for an experienced design manager to join their MEP team. The client's portfolio of work includes commercial towers, airports, workplaces and hospitality buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will:

-work on and/or oversee early stages design RIBA 2-3,

-manage people and support less senior team members when needed,

-review the design process and ensure high standards of work quality in line with budgets and deadlines,

-manage projects from inception to post construction duties,

-have knowledge of procedures, standards and legislation and the ability to share it with others as well as apply it.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will be qualified as a chartered engineer.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have an in-depth technical understanding of mechanical engineering.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have the ability to work effectively with other technical disciplines and communicate in a clear and professional manner.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have excellent communication skills and will be able to demonstrate them in graphical, written and verbal forms.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have the ability to negotiate and make design decisions.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will be a self-motivated and highly organised individual with a strong work ethic.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will be able to think analytically to solve problems.

-The Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have a demonstrable experience and be fully proficient in Revit.
