I am currently recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Buckinghamshire. Salary up to GBP60,000 + Benefits.

The client is a leading engineering organisation that operate at the forefront of their market. They specialise in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical products.

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they need to recruit for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis to work within their offices in Buckinghamshire.

In your role as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of design from concept through to prototype and manufacture. You will be working with the wider business during the project life cycle including sales, manufacturing and direct customer contact.

Essential Requirements:

- Ideally 10 Years Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

- 3D CAD Experience (Ideally Inventor)

- Designed Electro-Mechanical Products or Electronic Enclosures

- Experience with Analysis (Ideally NASTRAN or other analysis tools)

- Able to Achieve SC Security Clearance

Desirable Requirements:

- Previously Designed for Harsh Environments
